Vision & Values | Staff | Leadership Team

At City Church there are various members of ministry staff.

Chuck & Taryn Freeland are the Church Leaders, and are responsible for the overall vision and direction of the church. Originally from down south, they have been married for seven years and they have three young children. Chuck is a director of both the Imagine festival and Integrate (a charity that works with ex-offenders) and is also rubbish at every sport he’s ever tried. Taryn is also a director of the Imagine Festival, and has a heart for seeing women find wholeness and healing. As a couple they share a belief that the church is called to be a blazing light to the world. They love good food, sunny days, and DVD box-sets.

Jude and Archie McBean are our Children’s Pastors. They lead Making A Difference (M.A.D.), our range of activities for primary school age children. Both have joined the staff of City Church after their previous lives as teachers. They are passionate about seeing children come to know Jesus for themselves and then living for God for the rest of their lives. They have two young sons and are keen DIYers.

Adrienne Purdie is the Church Accountant.

However, despite that she is surprisingly fun to be around. She and her husband Jim have three children and they enjoy family cycle rides and bouncing on their trampoline.

Abi Foster is a PA to Chuck. Abi is a keen multi-tasker and is passionate about most things she encounters.

Jennifer Horton is the Church Administrator.

She labels everything. She likes puppies and donuts.
