City's Children's Church works in 3 separate age groups: 3-5yr olds, Primary 1-6, and a separate Primary 7 group. The Primary 7 group has an emphasis on allowing them to ask questions and express their opinions, with an overall focus on preparing them for transistions ahead. The often look at topics linked to City's main teaching program and have also used an adapted Youth Alpha Course. There is also a social emphasis for this group with occasional outings to the cinema, boating trips and Friends-style cafe meetings.

We have 3 teams of volunteers covering each age group. We use Children's ministry material from Scripture Union as well as our own original stuff! We have an annual weekend away with the Primary 3-7's which is always a lot of fun for both the children and the leaders.

Our heart is to help the children grow in their own faith and develop christian friendships with each other. We also aim to support parents as they bring their children up in the church.
