M.A.D. (Making A Difference) is an interactive, action packed event that takes all the exciting bits of Saturday morning TV and fuses it with the best parts of Sunday School. We at M.A.D have two aspects to our programme. We have 'M.A.D. Sundays' and 'M.A.D. Holiday Clubs'.
 M.A.D. Sundays is the programme we run on a Sunday from 10.45am to 12pm. Our teaching promotes the Christian faith through pantomime, messy games, great songs and amazing stories! Each week there will be practical teaching that the children can apply to their own lives.
The programme is aimed at primary school aged children (P1 through to the Christmas of P7, after which a follow on programme is available for the P7 children). M.A.D. is a FREE event which runs during school term time. We welcome children from all backgrounds regardless of culture and religion.
As a parent/guardian, you are more than welcome to join the adults upstairs from 10.30am until 12pm, but equally, we are happy for you to drop your child off at the back door (which is blue, down the alley running alongside the church) at 10.45am and then pick them up at 12 noon..
We also run M.A.D. Holiday Clubs. In 2010 its scheduled from the 11th till the 15th of Octoberr from 10am until 12pm. This is a free five day programme for all primary ages (excluding nursery) which will be action packed and full of fun! Our programme consists of lots of fun with messy games for the children, a theme based panto, songs and some Christian teaching that the children will be able to apply to their everyday lives. Of course… we mustn't forget the gunge tank where adult leaders will face the gunge if their team loses!
We have two teams of adult helpers/volunteers on a Sunday who have all been through the Disclosure Scotland process and are all members of City Church.
